Our African Chapter Story

ACCS Africa is a Pan-African organization dedicated to bridging commercial and cultural gaps between China and the United States. Established in 2005, ACCS aims to create dynamic platforms that foster strategic partnerships, knowledge exchange, and sustainable development across continents. The Africa Chapter, established in September 2024, focuses on amplifying African voices, fostering regional collaborations, and advancing inclusive growth across the continent.

We believe in empowering African businesses by connecting them with global markets, facilitating bilateral and trilateral dialogues, and advocating for policy reforms that promote inclusive growth. Our programs range from high-level forums and policy roundtables to entrepreneur mentorships and trade missions.

With our regional hubs and partnerships across Africa, ACCS Africa is uniquely positioned to serve as the voice of African business on the global stage. We are committed to transparency, integrity, and delivering real impact for the communities we serve.

Our Journey

2015

Foundation of ACCS Africa

ACCS Africa was officially founded to promote trilateral business cooperation between Africa, China, and the United States.

2016

First Africa-China Trade Summit

Successfully hosted the inaugural Africa-China Trade Summit in Nairobi, attracting over 500 delegates from across the continent.

2018

Expansion to West Africa

Opened regional offices in Ghana and Nigeria, expanding our reach and impact in West Africa.

2020

Virtual Forums Amid COVID-19

Launched a series of virtual dialogues to maintain international business engagement during the COVID-19 pandemic.

2022

Launch of Youth Leadership Program

Introduced a Pan-African youth mentorship and leadership initiative to empower the next generation of business leaders.

2024

Strategic MoU with UNCTAD & CCPIT

Signed strategic Memorandums of Understanding with UNCTAD and China Council for the Promotion of International Trade (CCPIT).
